Alluring Water Nymphs Exhibition
Now that my very first mini exhibition has finished i can finally release the images.
"Allure"

"Emerald Envy"

"Temptation"

"Waterbound"

"Entchanting Melody"

My good friend "Yental" got inspired by my images and wrote a peom which I absolutley love. The Poem became a big part of the exhibition.
"Spilling liquor from the vine,
cascades of poison so divine.
Clouds haze in a river stream,
The silent tulle of Sapphire blue,
the emerald envy you prusue.
The swirls of golden yellow rays,
impress upon your fallen ways.
Treakle lay upon the lips,
sweetly ripened finger tips.
Molten cream across the skin,
laced with ice from deep within.
Feathers sliding past your hip,
startled by a sudden grip.
Drops of blood spread like fire,
erupting with violent desire.
Clutching tightly to the throat,
resisting drawing up to float.
Piercing through the iris blind,
longing to be left behind."

Home Therapy
With my mother well on the way to Australia, we had no excuse anymore. The second bedroom had to be transformed from a study/junk room to a guest bedroom. I decided vintage was to be the theme. Surprise :)

And as if that wasn't enough, I felt whats missing is the smell of fresh cookies. Now I know you can't really smell them but maybe the photos will help you imagine the sweet scent.
Yes yes in reality everyone knows I had to take some pictures as proof. Me and cooking ... is a very special event that happens maybe once or twice a month. :)

"Burn-Out" remedy
What do you do when you had too much work, to much work outside of work served with some major housing complication and family drama on the side?
The only thing one can do in this situation is leaving everything behind and drive to Berry!!!! It is only two hours outside of Sydney (so the navi says ... even though we have never managed it under three hours. Probably due to the fact that we never seem to be able to come to an agreement with our navigation system Sir Thomas Thompson. Resulting in us getting lost - of course Sir Thomas is to blame :)).
Berry, just what the doctor ordered :)
- Nature
- Piece, Calm and Serenity
- No TV
- No Radio
- Just Trees, Birds and other weird animals (no not my hubby)

Post Trauma
Exhibition results:
- Sold 2 limited edition prints
- Sold 1 framed limited edition print
- finished all the cheese and wine
- Massive Ego-Booster
- hangover and scratchy throat from too much talking (em and maybe the cigarets that i have been prescribed for my nerves may have had some effect)
Having reflected on "the Day" I have come to the conclusion that all in all it was a reall success. I still can't believe that I pulled it off. After having a manic week and every doubt you could possibly imagine, with a lot of help of my husband and my friends I have managed to host a really nice little exhibition night. I was genuinly surprised at the amount of people that were there.
Unfortunately Mademoiselle Auer was too busy talking about her art (yes even though I swore I wouldn't do that) that she forgot taking any pictures on the night.
Bless Luke and his little nifty panorama point and shoot.

The most frequently asked question was how did I take those underwater shots? At this stage I was tempted to bend the truth a little and spin a story of my $1000s of dollars underwater gear, the full diving kit and professional lighting etc....
Meanwhile quite the opposit is the case. I believe the following pictures says it all!

Thanks everyone, you made my night!!!
