Classic Wedding at Château de Courtomer

In the heart of picturesque Normandie, amidst the rolling hills and whispers of history, David & Yoobin’s classic wedding at Château de Courtomer was a feast not just for the eyes but also for the ears! They had a dream of celebrating their wedding somewhere unique and classic. The idea of a castle or chateau wedding sounded both magical and crazy to them. They are both professional musicians and met through music. So when they visited Chateau Courtomer and toured the grounds they both started humming the melody of Clair de Lune by Debussy. One of the French classical artists they both love. They instantly fell in love with the grand chateau, the staircase, the romantic rooms and the sandstone walls overgrown by greenery.

The Music formed part of every element of this immaculately styled and unique wedding. David joined the Harpist at the ceremony for a romantic duet for Yoobin. Instead of hiring an officiant, their parents took turns in speaking making for an emotional and love filled ceremony. Following the ceremony they held a private concert in the grand Salon of the chateau for their family and friends. David & Yoobin playing side by side accompanied by David’s father on the piano. The couple really showcased their distinct personalities and their love for each other and for music.

The chateau’s grand hall was transformed into a classical wonderland, in the evening. It featured the most romantic floral designs and decorations. This classic wedding at Château de Courtomer defied bridal conventions and celebrated individuality. It was a gathering that cherished personal style, artistic expression, and a carefree approach to love. The memories created on this special day will forever be a reminder that weddings can be an expression of true selves. A wedding where the unconventional is celebrated, and love takes center stage in all its unique and individual glory.
