Romantic Beach Engagement

Haven’t thought of doing a Pre Wedding Photo Session or an Engagement Photo Session? Well this romantic beach engagement will make you reconsider your decision. There are so many reasons why a photoshoot before your wedding is a great idea. The first and most important one is the fact that you will get to know your photographer and his or her working style before the big day. If you are like most people, worried what you should do in front of the camera and are nervous that the images won’t look natural, even more reason to do a pre-wedding session.  Patrick an Danielle are no exception and despite me trying to put their minds at ease, explaining that I do give directions and that it will be a lot of fun, they were still daunted by the thought of being in front of my lens. I can’t blame them really, as believe it or not, I do get awkward in front of the camera as well! Yep even tough I am a photographer. You just don’t know what to do with yourself when you don’t see what you look like.

Its exactly that reason that I am one of those photographers that has lots of strategies up my sleeve to direct couples. Getting them out of their shell and just end up playing and be free together. Another tip, go and spoil yourself. Get your hair and makeup done and use this opportunity to do whatever you always wanted to do. It will automatically make you feel good and and more confident in front of the camera.

This session was a lot of fun despite the somewhat gloomy weather. Not just did they get images they can now use to send to their family and friends for the wedding but they also now have images in a different setting to what their wedding in Bowral will be. I cannot wait to photograph their I dos next year!

By the way it really doesn’t matter if you are getting married somewhere else and you are having a destination wedding. You can do a prewedding session just a couple of days prior to your wedding in the country you are in. This way you get even more chance of some epic images that you may not have time to do on your wedding day. One great example is this one in Greece!
