Danielle & Patrick’s utterly romantic Somerley House wedding was the perfect blend of genuine vintage and classical elements. To do vintage right is not easy. Danielle however, really managed to keep it super chic with a genuine antique Cahill of Beverly Hills gown from 1950. Add a handed down fur from 1930 and earrings from 1940, and you got vintage perfection.
This romantic Somerley House wedding wouldn’t have been so stunning if Botanica Style Co didn’t inject her floral elements. The blue and white florals are literally decorating the otherwise wintery stark landscape. This added the right amount of softness to this intimate affair.
Introduced by a friend at a 21st birthday party, Patrick popped the big question while the couple were holidaying in Tasmania. Danielle fills us in “We were on holidays in Tasmania overlooking Dove Lake at Cradle Mountain. I turned around and he was on one knee and asked me to marry him, we both cried it was so beautiful. My engagement ring is 100 years old and Patrick purchased it from an antique jewellery store in Blackheath.”

Danielle and Patrick’s words about their experience with us
“Kerstin from Lilli Kad Photography was incredible. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her. We have walked away with the most incredible photos, her creativity and attention to detail are astounding. We did an engagement photoshoot with her and that was when we knew we wouldn’t have anyone else photograph our special day. My stand out memory was taking photos with Kerstin. We spent hours walking/driving all over the property taking so many amazing and creative photos and we had so much fun and a lot of laughs.”
