Spanish Finca Garden Wedding

Vibrant colours, quaint architecture and Frida Kahlo inspired designs, Anna & Thomas Spanish finca garden wedding has it all. Anna and Thomas spent a fair amount of time in Javea prior to this, as Thomas’ mother has a holiday house there. They decided to hire a private garden finca set in the hills of Javea overlooking the ocean. Why would you not if you can? They chose this slightly quirky white washed finca which had lots of stairs and levels. Even though it made the set up a bit more challenging, we really loved the character it gave the wedding and made it a little bit more special.

We loved the fact that every event of the day had their own little terrace of the property and a different feel of the location. The ceremony was set up on a palm lined driveway to the guesthouse. The steep but characterful staircase ended up being the pathway the bride and groom walked into the ceremony from. Cara, from Trille Floral, infused this wedding with the richness of red and deep pink blooms to bring the Spanish flavour through! She also designed a Frida Kahlo floral head piece for Anna which only adds to the vibrant style of this wedding. Both the Pool area with the white Spanish pool house overlooking the ocean and the old town of Javea were the backdrop for the after-ceremony cocktails. As a result, guests relaxed in true Spanish style with antipasti and a Jamon Serrano station. Lastly, following the cocktails the second tier garden provided the perfect platform for this garden reception. Under the palms Spanish delights such as paella was served.

We could have included so many more images from this wedding. The details were never ending and so well thought through. It was a joyous, intimate and whimsical celebration put together by a great team of people. We loved spending time with Anna Thomas before the wedding day on our portrait sightseeing session in Javea.
